This policy explains what KV Jobs Hunt ("the app", "we") collects and why. We
do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
What the app stores on your device
Saved jobs, application statuses, your search preferences, and any resume
text you add.
A randomly generated anonymous device ID used to meter AI usage and link a
subscription.
This data stays on your device. You can erase it any time with
Delete local data in the Profile tab.
What is sent to our server
AI Career Coach & Practice Interview Questions: the job
text, and any resume text or question you provide, are sent to our backend
and forwarded to a third-party AI provider to generate a response. The
anonymous device ID is included to enforce usage limits.
Job search: your search terms and selected country are sent
to job-listing providers to return results.
We do not store your resume on our server after a request completes.
Third-party services
AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, DeepSeek, xAI) —
process the text above to generate responses.
Job listing providers (Remotive, Himalayas, Arbeitnow,
Adzuna) — return job postings for your searches.
RevenueCat — processes subscription status linked to the
anonymous device ID.
Google Firebase — stores the shared, non-personal bank of
generated practice questions.
Apple / Google Sign-In — if you choose to sign in, we
receive your name and email to show on your profile. Sign-in is optional.
Notifications
If you enable job alerts, the app schedules local notifications on your device.
No push data is sent from our servers.
Children
KV Jobs Hunt is intended for users 17 and older and is not directed at
children.
Your choices
Use the app without an account.
Erase on-device data with Delete local data.
Delete server-side records with Delete account (after
signing in).
Turn job alerts off in the Profile tab or iOS Settings.
